So what are his powers? Like the proportionate strenght, speed (what speed, waddle dazzle?), and agility (WHAT agility?) of a tanuki?

My guess is, a belly that sounds like a taiko drum when smacked, free sake for all (sans alcohol), and generally having a large belly.
